Course Description: ASQ has changed the Certified Biomedical Auditor to a stand-alone certification, i.e., it is no longer an add-on certification that requires candidates to get their CQA certification first before taking this exam. Course Prerequisites: ASQ has changed the CQA-Biomedical to a stand-alone certification, i.e., it is no longer an add-on certification that requires candidates to get their CQA certification first before taking this exam. You must have have two years of experience working with quality audits in the biomedical technology areas. This two-year requirement can be part of the eight-year requirement . There are some special education requirements that can waive some experience requirements. Please consult the details on the national website or call 800-248-1946.  This course is designed to suppliment the knowledge of the individual having meet the requirements for certification and is not designed to teach the entire body of knowledge.

Certification Exam Schedule: The exam is given twice per year, once in March and again in October. There is a deadline for registering for the exam.

• CQA Primer is available from the Quality Council of Indiana You must purchase and read the first 2 chapters prior to coming to the first class
