Course Description: Designed to assess basic knowledge of quality tools and their uses by individuals who are involved in quality improvement projects, but do not necessarily come from traditional quality areas. A detailed listing of the certification requirements are contained in the body of knowledge.

Course Prerequisites: You must have two years of work experience or an associate degree as a minimum. There are some special education requirements that can waive some experience requirements. Please consult the details on the national website or call 800-248-1946.  This course is designed to suppliment the knowledge of the individual having meet the requirements for certification and is not designed to teach the entire body of knowledge.

Certification Exam Schedule: The exam is given twice per year, once in June and again in December. There is a deadline for registering for the exam.
