Quality Reliability Testing Engineer

I am currently in need of a Quality Reliability Testing Engineer for a 4 month contract near Waukesha, WI! Candidate will help to facilitate continuous improvement and will focus on product reliability and reliability testing as well as field failure and product performance. Candidate will review product evaluation test methods to ensure product safety and functionality are verifiable and documented. They will also establish and validate test methods for systems and components to ensure performance meets marketing specifications and/or provide data describing actual performance. Candidate will also support operations through product performance testing evaluations.

Candidate MUST have 7-10 years of direct quality engineering experience with a focus on reliability (5+ years reliability). Direct experience with the development of test methods is a MUST. Ideal candidate will also have experience with the design of experiments and response surface methodology.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Demonstrated knowledge of quality and reliability tools and principles, TQM management understanding, knowledge of ISO, working knowledge of APQP and experience with reliability testing methods, math and statistics. ASQ CQE, CRE, Black or Green Belt preferred.
