For: Outstanding academic, community, and ethical leadership

Purpose: To enable students who have exhibited exceptional ability and diligence to pursue their academic interests for the betterment of the individual and society.

Award: $1500

Eligibility: Any enrolled Graduate or Undergraduate student is eligible. Schools (Stanford, SJSU, SCU, UCSC, CSUEB, DeAnza College, and West Valley College)

Criteria: School recommendation (1 to 2 pages) submitted by May 1 to Scholarship and Awards Chair, Dr. John Flaig  ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) detailing academic performance, community service, and personal need. Each school is allowed only ten (10) candidate recommendations. GPA > 3.5, Arts & Science students only.

Awards Presentation: The winners must attend an ASQ dinner meeting which is held 3rd Wed of each month to receive their award (see www.ASQ-silicon-valley.org for meeting details).
