This course provides an overview of major biomedical industry segments including biomedical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare. It will give participants the opportunity to:
- Achieve an understanding of the systems approach to quality in relation to the biomedical industry
- Gain an overview of documentation and regulation requirements unique to these industry segments
- Explore potential careers and translate existing skills to those required for success in the biomedical industry
- Design a resume focused on the biomedical industry
- Participate in a panel discussion by industry experts on how best to make a transition into the biomedical industry
