Job descriptionTime Machine QA Engineer

The Time Machine team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to keep an eye on quality during the development of new generations of the Time Machine backup system.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates creative problem solving abilities. As part of the Time Machine team, you will be expected to dive into technical, white box testing while also keeping the perspective of an end-user. You will play a key role in the design, quality and stability of one of the most visible products in Mac OSX.

Responsibilities include:
- White box testing of the backup engine
- Functional and performance test tool development
- Black box user level testing of the backup and restore experience
- Finding, isolating, and tracking bugs through resolution

Required Experience

- BS Computer Science or equivalent
- Ability to think creatively and troubleshoot issues
- Knowledge of UNIX and the command-line environment
- Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of C/C++/Objective C
- Familiarity with mainstream scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, sh, Ruby)

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Mac OSX
- QA experience during a full product development life-cycle

Job description	Finder QA Engineer Have an impact on Mac OSX by working as a QA Engineer on the Finder team. The Finder team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to play a key role in the design, usability, and stability of one of the most used applications on Mac OSX. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates creative problem solving abilities and an eye for usability. As part of the Finder team, you will be expected to evaluate builds of the Finder, write bugs and interact with developers to isolate and regress issues.
