QCE / SPC guru

Nanosolar is turning the corner from research and development to production.  We are looking for a QC engineer to join our team and help build the best system for what is arguably the most important technology of our time.  If you are ready to help change the world, and are excited about prospect of a challenge of a lifetime, then we need to talk.

Quality Control Engineer needed to be the resident guru on SPC, DOE, and process control.  Must be able to help others design, implement, and analyze  DOE’s , set up charting on lines, teach operators and engineers how to read charts and trends.  A deep knowledge of quality tools with a background in the semiconductor industry is a basic requirement.  Operations in house will be the primary focus, with some occasionally work at our suppliers.  This is a hands on job where you will work with a broad range of people and suppliers, on the line and in the office.

Minimum Qualifications:
B.S in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. ASQ certified.  Experience in overall quality systems.  Must be able to teach.

Knowledge of standard ASQ methods necessary, as is an understanding of Lean manufacturing, and high volume manufacturing.  Roll to roll printing experience a definite plus.  Toyota experience is a big plus.
