For: The best student paper on a Quality related subject

Purpose: To encourage future leaders in business, engineering and science to examine the fundamental role Quality plays in advancing society in many arenas, including management, science, engineering, statistics, products, and services.

Awards: 1st $1000, 2nd $500, and 3rd $250

Eligibility: Any enrolled Graduate or Undergraduate student is eligible. Schools (Stanford, SJSU, SCU, UCSC, CSUEB, DeAnza College, and West Valley College)

Criteria: Paper submitted to Scholarship and Awards Chair, Dr. John Flaig ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and evaluated by the review committee. Outline due by March 15 and Final Paper by May 1.  See page 2 for details.

Awards Presentation: 3rd Wed in June, all winners must attend. 1st place winner presents their paper. Other winners may be asked to present at a later dinner, tutorial, or discussion group meeting.
